Engine Oil

Engine Oil, Motor oil or engine oil is an oil used for lubrication of various moving parts. Engines consist of several parts simultaneously moving against each other thereby causing friction which thereby creates heat. There is significant wear and tear between moving parts which leads to lower engine efficiency and systematic degradation of the engine thereby increasing fuel consumption, decreasing power output and finally leads to engine seizure or failure. It is therefore necessary to create a separating film between surfaces of moving parts to minimize friction between them, decreasing heat released by friction and reducing wear to finally protect the engine. This separting film is a Lubrication agent which we call Engine Oil.
Today’s Modern automotive engines are much more superior in performance and work in far more hotter and challenging conditions. Inferior oils lead to creation of harmful residue which results in a thick, tar-like deposit called sludge which inhibits the proper functions of an engine and can lead to engine failure even though the vehicle is serviced regularly. Choosing the Right engine Oil is the key to longer lasting engine life.
THE EXOL QUALITY GUARANTEE Exol has been developed by us since 2009. The Core of our product offering is our strict adherence to specifications, innovations and our quality control. All Exol products are meet International API (American Petroleum Institute) and JASO (Japanese Automotive Standards Organization) Specifications. For Petrol/ Gasoline Engines, Exol Lubricants confirm to meet the latest in API categories including SN, SM, SL and SJ. Similarly for Diesel Engines Exol Lubricants confirm to meet the latest in API including CJ-4, CI-4, CH-4, CG-4, CF-2, and CF. Grades of Engine Oils Engine Oils are Broadly categorized into 3 Main Grades 1.Mono Grade : A single-grade engine oil, as defined by SAE J300, cannot use a polymeric Viscosity Index Improver. Mono Grade Engine Oils are mainly used in very Old vehicles 2.Multi Grade : In order to regulate the viscosity of the Oil which will be high in cold temperatures and low in hot temperatures need Viscocity improvers or additives are added to oils. These additives are used to make the oil a multi-grade motor oil which is suitable to provide one engine oil for all temperatures throughout the year. This is the most commonly used Engine Oil among modern vehicles. 3.Synthetic Grade : Synthetics include classes of lubricants like synthetic esters. Higher purity and therefore better property control theoretically means synthetic oil has better mechanical properties at extremes of high and low temperatures. This is the latest technology in Engine Oil Lubrication systems and has greatly extend the service time required for each vehicle.
